A beautiful picturebook which extremely strong links to the life of the author herself yet can be read, intentionally, as a story within itself. Viriginia has dark and depressing thoughts which keep her trapped within her bed but her younger sister does all that she can to lift the mood and bring some colour into her life even when her sister unleashes her dark mood upon her. This is a touching book about the heavy darkness that can weigh us all down and how those who love us endure and support as much as they can.
