KS1/KS2
‘Hello Lighthouse’ follows the story of a lighthouse and its last lighthouse keeper. Inside the lighthouse the keeper completes his daily jobs of tending to the light by: writing in his logbook, trimming the wick, refilling the oil for the lamp and polishing the lens of the light. The lighthouse keeper completes these jobs by himself as he longs to be with his wife, who he writes letters to throughout the book. Eventually, the lighthouse keeper’s wife, Alice, arrives and together they raise their daughter (Words by Ella Sullivan)
